Curio from Isabella Banks' collection; a portion of the lining of the coffin of the exiled Emperor Napoleon I in which he was buried at St. Helena. Secured when his body was exhumed and borne to Paris for reinterment in 1840. Presented to Mrs. G.L. Banks by J.R. Blofield Esq. Sept 12 1853.
