A unique 15th century copy of Borgia's World Map with all legends translated into English; taken from a circular metal map which is preserved in Cardinal Stephan Borgia's Museum at Velletri. Probably one of the oldest printed maps, purchased in Venice by Nordenskiöld, and his research suggests that it dates from circa 1410. Provides an indication of of the geography of different countries and offers vibrant descriptions of their ethnography, natural conditions, religion and significant events in history.
