Top section of the plan showing the flow of the Nile from Gebel Silsila to Wadi Halfa. Illustrations of temples and other significant monuments located along the Nile. Handwritten in ink: "W. Willcocks/ Dr. General of Reservoirs/ 1 Feby 1893". Sir William Willcocks (1852-1932) was a British Civil Engineer and was involved with the construction of the Aswan Low Dam.
