Description:
The sanitary sub-districts are co-equal with the enumeration or enumerator's districts into which the registration sub-district was divided for the purpose of the census in 1871. Boundaries: River Irk, Corporation Street, York Street and by a very irregular line, which twice crosses York Street, and once crosses Exchange Street, Knowsley Street, and Derby Street, to a point in Red Bank, and from there to the river Irk.
