Black and white photograph of Ed McCully, Pete Fleming and Jim Elliot (left to right) sat next to a light aircraft. McCully and Fleming are holding rifles and a bird is held by Elliot. McCully, Fleming and Elliot were missionaries in Ecuador and killed, alongside Roger Youderian and Nate Saint, on January 8th 1956 after making contact with the Huaorani tribe of Ecuador. The Huaorani are also known as Waorani, or Waodani.
