Memorial breakfast menu in memory of Charles Calvert, who died 12th June 1879. Two performances of 'As You Like IT' also took place at the Theatre Royal, Manchester. Calvert was the stage-manager and principal actor of the Theatre Royal, Manchester and later became the manager of the Prince's Theatre. Title taken from menu: 'Calvert Memorial Performance, Theatre Royal, Manchester, October 1st and 2nd 1879. Breakfast, The Laurels, Pendleton. Menu.'. Illustration: title: 'The Seven Ages'.
