Theragāthā: Ola leaf Manuscript in Sinhalese characters in a good state of preservation. Handwriting clear and large. Leaves 157-188 (numbered ñ to ṭhā), this is the eighth work in the bundle containing 11 texts (Pali MSS 18-28) from the Khuddakanikāya (Minor Collection or Collection of Little Texts): Khuddakapāṭha, Dhammapada, Udāna, Itivuttaka, Sutta-Nipāta, Vimānavatthu, Petavatthu, Theragāthā, Therīgāthā, Jātaka, Paṭisambhidāmagga. The text starts on the obverse of leaf "ñ" [= folio 157a] and ends on the obverse of leaf "ṭhā" [= folio 188a] in all 63 folios. At the end of the text there is a long benedictory passage, for the most part in verse. Folios are not numbered; character numerals following the Sanskrit alphabetical order are used for numbering and these are written in the left-hand margin on the obverse of the leaf. Size: 70 mm x 620 mm, with margins 147 mm left and right, each folio with a single string through twin holes in each leaf holding them together, with two lacquered dark brown wooden boards as covers for all eleven manuscripts.
