A facsimile of the address page of a handwritten letter addressed to 'The Editor Galigani's Messenger' from Lord Byron denying any involvement with a work entitled 'The Vampire' and asking for this to be made public. 'The Vampyre' was a novella written in 1819 by John William Polidori. 'Galignani's Messenger' was a daily Parisian paper printed in English.
