Description:
Four images illustrating the story of Thenot (an old but happy shepherd) and Colinet who is young but sad. The first entitled 'Thenot' shows a dark night scene with a twisted tree, it illustrates; 'The Blighted Corn'. The second, with the same title shows Thenot chasing a fox away, it illustrates: ''Nor Fox, nor Wolf, nor Rat among us' . The third image shows a stream and illustrates 'Sabrina's Silvery Flood'. The fourth image shows Colinet walking down a road on a journey to London and illustrates 'Colinet's Fond Desire Strange Lands to Know'. The drawings are dark and heavily shaded.
