Newspaper cutting from the Manchester Guardian, 16 August 1919 containing a centenary article entitled 'The Peterloo 'Massacre': August 16, 1819' featuring a plan of Peterloo showing the disposition of crowds and troops - Reproduced from [F.A. Bruton's] the 'Story of Peterloo', published for the governors of the Rylands Library by the Manchester University Press, 1819. The plan compiled from a number of Contemporary Plans is showing (in dotted outline) the position of modern block of buildings, also published in the book ' "Three Accounts of Peterloo by Eyewitnesses: Bishop Stanley, Lord Hylton, John Benjamin Smith with Bishop Stanley's Evidence at the Trial" edited by F.A.
