Recto: The Inhabitants of the City and Vicinity of York, are respectfully Informed, that a Declaration, of which the following is a Copy, is laid for Signature at the following places : viz: Mr. Wolstenholme's, Minster-Gates; Mr. Bulmer's, Hay-Market; Messrs. Crosby and Co.'s, and Mr. Rawdon's, Brush-Maker, Micklegate; Mr. Dale's, Fossgate; Mr. Foster, Coney-Street; and at the Yorkshire gazette-office. Dated York, September 29, 1819. Verso: 'Mr. Spenser's Speech, delivered at a Meeting of the Inhabitants of the Ward of Cheap, held at the King's Head, Poultry, in the Metropolis, on the 1st instant, for the Purpose of taking into Consideration the Late Events at Manchester. [Extracted from the New times, of October 2, 1819]'.
