Description:
Manuscript inscription beneath the colophon on leaf [A10r] has been thoroughly washed-out, some letters still visible under ultra-violet light: "Iste ... de Ma...utta ... Jo. chardellj". This ownership inscription was probably that of Jean Chardalle (Johannes Chardalli, Jean Chardally, Johannes Chardallus), from Marville, a canon and cantor of Metz cathedral, who died 13 February, 1502.
