Sixteenth-century[?] manuscript inscription in black ink at foot of leaf: "Iste liber e[st] Cong[regation]is s[an]c[t]e Iustin[us] deputat[us] p[ar]tenope[n]si cenobio s[anc]to[rum] seuerini et sossij script[us] i[n] inue[n]tario i[n] Lictera L. sig[natus] n[umer]o 14. In Nouis[sim]o alphabeto sig[natus] n[umer]o 4. l[itte]ra. L." [i.e. the Benedictine monastery of Santi Severino e Sossio in Naples (Partenopensi), which was part of the Congregation of Santa Giustina of Padua, where the book formerly had the pressmark L14 but now (in a later alphabetical inventory) has the pressmark L4].
