Manuscript inscription at foot of leaf (De officiis): "Ex libris Societatis Jesu Trevirensis[?] Clas 2 ord L" [possibly the Jesuits of Trier, Germany]. Decoration: initial 'Q' is supplied in red with reserved white decoration on a blue ground filled with white vine-stems and green and red foliage, with purple and red pen-work extending into the inner border with dots and foliage.
