Hymnbook containing hymns in the hand of Charles Wesley and labelled "Manuscript Clarke".The first hymn in the volume is "Phil. 3.13", the first line of which is "Come let us who to Christ are joined". The notebook is annotated by the Wesleyan minister Adam Clarke as follows: 'This hymn book composed and written by the late Rev. Ch[arle]s Wesley was brought from Savanna in Georgia, & presented to me by the late Revd Dr [Henry] Kellock of the United States. A. Clarke. In the shorthand, I find the date 1743'.
