Interior view, detail of the dining room fireplace at Cragside, Northumberland. The dining room has a deeply-coffered moulded ceiling and partial wooden dado panelling on the wall with a carved frieze. The inglenook fireplace, with seating to both sides is under a semi-circular arch; the fireplace, arch and intricate frieze above it are all carved. The fireplace surround has ‘EAST OR WEST HAME’S BEST’ carved underneath the mantel. Unidentified paintings hang either side of the inglenook. Not very clearly visible, are four William Morris stained glass windows that sit at the back of the inglenook, depicting personifications of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Cragside was built in 1864 for the industrialist and inventor William George Armstrong, 1st Lord Armstrong, by the architect Richard Norman Shaw and the fireplace was designed by his assistant at the time W.R. Lethaby. Cragside included many technological innovations and was the first house to have electric lighting powered by water. Cragside has been in the care of the National Trust since 1977 and the property has been open to the public in 1979. There are some tiny flaws in the print itself, likely sustained in the printing process rather than a flaw to the original plate or negative.

Another complete set is owned by Yale University, located at the British Art Center, Folio A 2014 71. The Getty Research Institute holds 82 of the set of 86 cyanotypes (lacking nos. 10, 65, 67 and 81). The Royal Institute of British Architects have eight photographs from this series also in cyanotype, with the same numbering 1-68 (nos. 1, 7, 37, 49, 58, 61, 66 and 67).
