Hardbound album of 159 albumen prints and the photographer’s notes recording the visit of Buffalo Bill's Wild West to Earl's Court in 1892, by Arthur R. Dresser. The photographs are mounted on both sides of thick card with paper pages of handwritten notes between each card. Among the performers and members photographed, and described in the notes, are people of the Lakota Nation (described in the notes only as Sioux), Chief of the Cossacks Prince Iran Makharadze, William F. Cody, John M. Burke, Annie Oakley, John Young Nelson, Black Heart, Della & Bessie Ferrell and the Deadwood Stage coach. The notes also detail the developing and printing processes and chemicals used and that most were taken with a Crouch "Dresser" hand camera at F.8, and printed on Bromide paper, mostly from Eastman Film Negatives. The front cover is gold embossed "Photographs - A.R. Dresser", the spine "Volume II".
