Albumen print of the exterior of Saighton Grange, Cheshire. Three storey sandstone building. It is in Tudor style with battlements and stepped gables. The gatehouse projects forwards, with string courses between the storeys. It is surmounted by a crenelated parapet. The lower 1½ storeys of the front aspect are occupied by a pointed arch. The side of the building is mostly covered in ivy. A stone wall extends from the left side. Trees on the left side. Infront of the building is a grassed area and path.
