Description:
Albumen print of the birthplace house of Bishop Wilson in Burton, Cheshire. Behind a stone wall, a whitewashed thatched cottage can partially be seen. There is a path from an entrance in the wall to the cottage. On the right of the cottage is another thatched cottage, not whitewashed. Thomas Wilson (1663–1755) was Bishop of Sodor and Man between 1697 and 1755.
