Description:
Albumen print of and external view of St. John’s Church, Chester. Stone ruins of part of the ancient Choir and the adjacent Chapel. Trees are growing behind and directly in front. Ivy is growing on a wall on the left. In front of the ruin is a stone sarcophagus surrounded by railings and a stone grave ledger, also surrounded by railings.
