The interior of the Electro-Technical lab in the main UMIST building; Taken from the north east corner of the lab the shot is angled back to the doorway in the south western corner across three rows of workbenches. Each of these has various scientific apparatus set out on it some, as with the desk closest to the photographer, have wires and leads connecting up the various individual items. The electro-technical lab was located on the ground floor (floor B) of the building in the north eastern corner
