Description:
Manchester Museum and central University buildings exterior; Taken at ground level from the opposite side of Oxford Road looking west and slightly to the south across the whole frontage of the Victorian buildings on Oxford Road. It shows them in their recently cleaned condition and just above the Museum roof can be seen the scaffolding still in place on the buildings behind for the ongoing cleaning of the stonework. The picture is labelled number “2” on the mount and on the reverse is written “Oxford Rd looking towards Union July 1972”
