Description:
Professors Sydney John Hickson, 1859-1940 and Alfred Cort Haddon. A picture of the two men in conversation (Professor Hickson is on the left wearing a hat) with a bicycle leaning against the wall of a building behind them. S J Hickson was Professor of Zoology at Owens College and the University of Manchester 1894-1926 and Professor Haddon was a noted Anthropologist who was awarded an honorary doctorate of science from the University of Manchester. On the reverse of the card is an attached label on which is written 'Manchester University (Owens College) Sydney John Hickson, MA DSc (left) Professor of Zoology 1894-1926 (With Prof Alfred Cort Haddon right)'.
