Goldsworthy has delivered Hamilton’s message to Princess Augusta who has replied that she desires her love to be sent to her and Goldsworthy notes that she will answer for her more by thanking Hamilton ‘more than once’. Goldsworthy writes that they walked from 9.30 until 12.00 o’clock and her feet are sore for it, almost so that she can say that her ‘Dancing days’ are over.
