Manuscript volume with descriptions of the portraits with biographical notes held at Woburn Abbey written in an unidentified hand. The volume is inscribes on the first page by Mary Hamilton 'Notes to the Portraits in Woburn Abbey by Honr[abl]e Horace Walpole'. On the inside sheet she writes 'By my friend H[onrab]le Horace Walpole'. There are two dates within the volume, one page is dated 18 June 1782 and another is 29 September 1791, the date when the entry was 'finished'.
