Description:
In the note dated 15 September 1781 Hamilton writes that her note was too late for the post and she had given it to Charles Greville who may have forgot to post it for her. The second note is dated November 1781 and is concerned with arranging a meeting. The third note is dated 5 October 1781 and in it Hamilton writes if her agitation of spirits and of her concern for Mr Glover (see HAM/1/13) who is very ill. The note details Glover's illness. The final note is dated 18 October (1781) and in it Hamilton briefly writes that she has only time to inform Gunning that she is well and that she will write tomorrow.
