Description:
In a note written by Hamilton she states that she found the enclosed note on return from the Queen's House. Queen Charlotte had visited Hamilton's apartment and had left the note when she found that she was not there. The Queen writes that she hopes soon to answer her letters and that she envies her writing so well. Below this is written 'extract of a letter w[hi]ch Lady Charlotte Finch gave me from her Majesty' dated July 1780.
