Description:
This fragment contains the inner half of a leaf from a papyrus codex, the other half of which is in the British Museum (P. Lond. Inv. 2852). Lysias was a gifted lawyer and orator in ancient Athens. He makes this speech in defence of a client, one "Eryximachus". Acquired in 1920.
