þe kinges wille shulde ben don in as muche as he myghte and wolde nought spare for no maner deþ and so he swore and made his oþ // þo saide S(ir) Will(ia)m of Mountagu to þe Constable in heringe of alle ham þat were helpynge vnto þe querell: Now certes dere frende vs byhoueth for to werche and done by ȝoure queyntise to take þe Mortym(er) sith þat ȝe ben kep(er)e of þe Castell and haueth þe keyes in ȝour war de // Sire quod þe Constable wile ȝe vndirstonde þ(t) þe gat(es) of þe castel beth lokede w(t) þe lokes þat Dame.
