Description:
Psalm one hundred and seventeen: 25-29; Psalm one hundred and eighteen: 1-8. The verses are in two columns of 30 lines, in black Carolingian minuscule with titles in red uncials. The initial letter of each verse is capitalised and infilled with colour. Psalm one hundred and eighteen, 'Beati inmaculati...' begins with a twin birds headed zoomorphic 'B' of minuscule form, somewhat larger than usual, and running off the edge of the folio, decorated with interlace, rosettes and foliage in red, green, yellow and black. The remainder of the word 'Beati' is capitalised and coloured, occupying the depth of three lines; the first five letters of the following word are in black capitals infilled with colour two lines in depth. The psalm continues over several folios, being divided into twenty two sections, headed by the names of letters of the Hebrew alphabet, titled in red uncials and punctuated by orationes, the first of which commences at the foot of the second column of the present folio and has been partly erased.
