Description:
Siege of Troy. Book two: the Greeks sail for Troy and are immediately caught in a storm. The goddess Diana is responsible for the weather as she is displeased that the Greeks did not make offerings to her before their journey. They land at Aulis and Agamemnon offers his daughter Iphigenia to Diana as a sacrifice, however at the last moment Diana replaces Iphigenia with a stag which is killed in her place. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
