Description:
Siege of Troy. Book one: Medea can control nature, even causing an eclipse of the moon and sun. Lydgate notes in the text that these powers are attributed to Medea by Ovid, and we know that nature cannot be controlled this way. Lydgate goes on to say that the only eclipse that has taken place was at Christ's death. The written space is 305 x 200 mm, 2 columns and 44 lines and the script is anglicana formata by two hands.
