The words ' Edward I ' are written in the top margin. The tale of the battle at Falkirk and of King Edward's victory there. Red rubrication and an illuminated initial ' A ' introduce the tale of the marriage of King Edward to Margaret the daughter of Philip, the King of France, and how King Edward goes again to war in Scotland. Red rubrication and an illuminated initial ' K ' introduce the tale of how King Edward besieges Stirling castle and threatens those within with the gallows. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.
