Red rubrication and an illuminated initial 'W' introduce the tale of how when his ransom is paid and he is out of prison, King Richard disinherits his brother John, then goes to France, where he is mortally wounded by an arrow in Gaillard. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.

Cap(o) Centesimo xlv(to).
