Description:
Knights Key (Kay) and Bidewer (Bedwer) hear the story of how the Spanish Giant ravished Eleyne and another damsel and killed Eleyne. There are copying errors which have been corrected by the scribe. The written space is c.182 x 112 mm and the script is anglicana formata.

and aspie where þe Geaunt mighte ben founde and þey comen to þe Ryuage þ(er)e þat men shulde gon to þe mount þat was al enclosed aboute wiþ water and ȝit is and eu(er)more shal be and þey sawe a brennyng fire vppon þe hull. and þere was also anoþ(er) hull neigh þat þ(er) was oppon annoþ(er) fire brenn/yng //Key. and Bidewer come(~) to þe nexte hulle: and founden a widewe openheded sitti(~)g bisides a tumbe sore wepyng and grete sorwe made and ofte she saide. Eleyne. Eleyne. and Key. and Bydewere axede what hire was and wherfore she made so muche sorwe and who lay in þat tumbe // O quod she what sorwe and what mys aventure faire lordes seke ȝe her for ȝif þe Geaunt may ȝow here fynde: ȝe worþe dede a- non // Beþ stille good wif quod þey þ(er)offe dismaye þe nouȝt but telle vs þe sothe why þow makest so muche sorwe and wepynge // Sires quod she for a damisell þat .J. nourisshede wiþ my brest þat me called Eleyne þat was nece to Hoel king of Britaigne and here lith þe body in (to) þis tumbe þat to me was bitaken to norisshe so þ(er)e come a deuel a Geaunt and rauisshede hire and me also and lad vs boþe away. And he wolde haue for- layn þat mayde þat was so ȝonge and tendre of age. but she mighte it nouȝt suffren so grete and so huge þe geauntȝ.
