Description:
Deeds of the Apostles: chapter eleven. Barnabas and Paul go to Antioch where they convert many people. The disciples are first called Christian men at Antioch. Red rubrication and a pen-flourished initial 'A' in blue and red ink introduces chapter twelve. King Herod has James, the brother of John, put to death and plans to capture Peter. Ink annotation and calligraphic scribbles appear at the bottom of the folio and in the margin. Written space is 100 x 75 mm, 26 long lines.
