Take þ(e) leuys of vervey(~)n & stampe it & make ballys 4. of he(~) & so bynde ou(er) swarte þ(e) eye atwoo or þ(e) days & 5. þ(u) shalt be hole ffor to knowe weþ(er) þ(e) sore þ(t) 6. in þ(e) eye comiþe of hete or of Colde Sethe 7. roses in wat(er) & ley hem on a smal lynnyn cloþ(e) & ley 8. it on þ(e) eyen & if þ(e) sore come of hete he shall þan 9. fele more sore & if it come of colde he shall fele a lasse 10. hete & sore ffor þ(e) webbe in þ(e) eye spottis 11.
