Medical recipes. Lines 3 and 4 ? quytir is water and wyte is quick, and the scribe has swapped the initial sounds of both words. Line 14 'ricardon' apple of richard. A parallel recipe is extant in Dawson f41r. Line 15 'juory' has been changed to 'jvery'. Bottom margin: 'also for þ(e) emeradis : take þ(e) powd(er) of a shoe whan it is bornyd & if þay blede or swette and ley þ(e) powd(er) to them : .' The written space is c. 163 x 115 mm and the script is mainly secretary.
