Take an honne (^& a) eye and rost it harde & do a way þ(e) yelke & 3. take þ(e) white and do it in a brasyn morter and do þ(er) to a 4. q(ua)rt(er) of an unc(e) of coperos & grinde hem well to gedir þ(t) it 5. be small as oynement & a noynte þ(er) w(t) þ(e) seke face & þ(t) shal 6. sees þ(e) ache And do a wey þ(e) swellynge for it is kynde þ(er) 7. for & aftir warde whan it is almost hool Anoynt þ(e) seke 8. w(t) a litill popyliou(~) & þ(t) woll douge þ(e) skyn and make it 9. hesye ffor the morfewe Take horhonde & sethe it in 10. clene rynnynge watir from a potill in to a quarte & putt 11. þ(er) to good whyte wy(~)n or ellis stale ale & þan seth it vp 12.
