Take .v. 3. leuyd gras wilde sauge wilde tansey columbyne 4. rede mynte of eche .v. leuys or croppis & poune hem 5. small ina morter and temp(er) it w(t) stale Ale and drinke 6. it whan þ(e) greuith any ache ffor narownesse of þ(e) 7. brest Take a vnc(e) of poudir of licorire and an unc(e) 8. of sugur Candy And boyle hem ina quarte of wat(er) til hit 9. come in to þe haluyndele And þan stop it in A pynt pott All day 10. and eche nyȝt aftir drinke .vi. sponfull while it lastith ffor 11. the jaundis Take turmentill & grate it as gyngir 12. & drynke þ(er) of þryes ffor þe emeradys / Take a new 13. pott of erthe and fill it full of wat(er)cresses w(t) a litill 14. watir and boyl it til it be tendir And all hoot pot it und(er) A 15. chayer w(t) A sege And oire it þ(t) none eyre come out And 16. vse .ij. on þ(e) day first & laste ffor the costffenesse And 17. for þ(e) modir.
