Lancashire. Coloured map with latitude and longitude marked around the edge. The map is very rich in detail including cities, place names, rivers and parks. Counties are differentiated by different colours. The title is given in a simple frame at centre top. Top right is a large sketch of Collegiate Church Manchester and a simple compass rose. Bottom right is an 'Explanation' of the symbols used and bottom left: 'Reference to the Hundreds'. In the centre at the bottom is a small scale bar. Printed along the bottom is: 'Published by Pigot & co. 24 Basing Lane, London & 18 Fountain St. Manchester.'
