Hertfordshire. Top left corner of total map showing Herfordshire where it borders with Bedfordshire. Monochrome with large title (top left). The inscription underneath reads: 'Inscribed by Permission to the most noble the Marquis of Salisbury KG, Lord Lieutenant and to the nobility, clergy and gentry of the County'. Beneath this is printed: 'London, published by A Bryant 27 Great Ormond Street, April 10th 1822'. Very rich detail includes roads and place names. The map has a simple decorative edging with longitude angles marked.
