Autograph letter to Coyne and Marston thanking them for proposing a toast in his honour at a banquet at St John's Gate on 23 April celebrating Shakespeare's birthday. Written at Hauteville House, Guernsey. Bought on 12 April 1967. Coyne and Marston were both British playwrights, and members of the Shakespeare Committee in 1864.
