Description:
The Nettipakaraṇa (which belongs to the Khuddaka Nikāya of the Pali Canon) offers the appropriate methodology for the use, application and interpretation of the Tripitaka. The text is a guide for those who wish to commentate or discourse without resorting to self-constructed personifications or personalisation of Buddha’s teachings which are themselves intrinsically untouched by the trappings of ‘self’ or ‘individualism’. ‘Nettipakaraṇa’ translates to ‘guide-treatise’ and is thus simply referred to as “The Guide”.
