Description: 
Series of twelve colour lithographs; the accompanying text describes the processes involved from growing the cotton to dyeing and printing patterns on the finished cloth. The name 'Barfoot.delr.' is engraved at the bottom left-hand corner of each plate, and Darton. Publisher at the bottom right-hand corner. Appears to have been used as a scrapbook; cut-out illustrations have been pasted to the cloth on the back of the text to plate 6, and the cloth on the back of plate 12. Plates and text have been mounted onto grey cloth, later dis-bound.
