Title page, device of Dun Emer Press, designed by Elinor Monsell, shows the Lady Emer standing by a tree. Cuala Press, Irish Private Press, originally known as the Dun Emer Press was founded by Elizabeth Corbet Yeats, Lily Yeats and Evelyn Gleeson. It was the only Arts and Crafts press to be run and staffed by women and the only one that published new work rather than established classics.
