Binding with Papal arms. Eighteenth-century full calf; double gilt fillet and gilt-rolled palmette motif to form a border; centrepiece of gilt-stamped arms of Pius VI, Pope (1717-1799); board edges gilt-tooled; gilt-tooled sprays of acorns and oak leaves with foliate surround within compartments.
