Description: 
Four monochrome shaded drawings of various ornaments from a tomb. In the top right corner is printed: 'Vol II. Plate XXXI.' At centre top is printed: 'Plate III'. The title below the image says: 'A. The under vaulting of one side the canopy of the same monument. B. Aganthus on the front of the canopy of the same monument. C. Painting on the compartment over the top of the same canopy. D. Ornament on the spandrels in the pediment of the canopy'. Each item is illustrated the largest being D, the triangular ornament on the spandrels. The top of the compartment is broken off (item C). Below the frame is printed: 'Sumptibus Societatis Antiquar Londini MDCCIXXX' then 'Published as the Act directs, April 23, 1780'. Finally in the bottom right corner is printed: 'J Basire del et Sc.'.
