Description:
Single line engraving in black ink. Job again appears with the ensemble of his wife and his three comforters. One of the three – Eliphaz - conjures up the vision that is witnessed in the top half of the composition. It shows himself in bed being visited by the figure of God in Job's own image. Eliphaz appears as a frail, scared man intimidated by the presence of God, and it is in this manner that his advice is relayed to Job.
