15 January 1646: letters from Scotland certify that the earl of Sleford encountered James Graham, marquess of Montrose, and routed his troops. There are other victories in England, Ireland and Scotland. 18 January 1646: letters certify that Colonel Temple, the governor of Henly, has taken thirty-four prisoners, and that Sir John Gell has taken the town of Tidbury. Includes a list of the particulars of the victory obtained by the Earl of Sleford. Page has been erroneously numbered.
